  Notes	obituary - Albert & Burpee Funeral Home (Lewiston, ME) Geraldine T Fecteau, 76, of Auburn, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice in Auburn, on June 6, 2014, after an unexpected brief illness. She spent her last few days surrounded by all her family and friends. Daughter of Albany and Arlene Cyr Martin, she was born in Guerette, Maine, on May 14, 1938. Following the death of her father, she was raised by her mother and step-father, Gerry Bunham. She was a beautiful women with a heart of gold. She enjoyed sitting on her porch watching the birds, her favorite being the hummingbirds. She took  pride in her flowers and had a soft spot for any animal. She also adored all her eight children and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would drop everything for all of them. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Gerard Fecteau of Auburn, six sons; Louis Fecteau and wife Janey of North Carolina, Reggie Fecteau and wife Sue of Buckfield, Richard Fecteau and wife Debbie of Auburn, Steve Fecteau of Auburn, Andrew Fecteau and wife Sharon of Salem, and Anthony Fecteau of Auburn, a daughter, Tina Webster and husband Robert of Leeds, a brother, Gordon Martin and wife Jeanette of Lewiston, eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Daniel Fecteau, a sister, Maryjane Haney, and five brothers; Clayton, Phillip, Richard, Sylvio and George Martin.

  	50th anniversary - Sun Journal (Lewiston, ME) - 2 Oct 2005 AUBURN - A surprise party was held recently for Gerard and Geraldine Fecteau of Auburn, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The event was hosted by their children, Reggie, Rick, Tina, Dan, Steve, Andrew and Anthony. Mr. Fecteau and the former Geraldine Martin were married on June 30, 1955, at St. Mary's Church in Lewiston. Guests attended from areas in Maine, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina and Illinois. In addition to their children, the couple has 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
