    • According to the 1920 census, the widowed Virginie E???? Proulx, age 49, was living on the farm she owned (free and clear). Children listed were: Joseph A. L, 20, Marie L 18, Eva P 17, Ludwin 14, Jean B 9, Estelle 6. Also listed was her widowed father, Cyprien Proulx, age 82.

      According to the 1930 census, Virginie Desrosier, age 59, was married (but no husband was listed) and lived on the farm she owned in Epping, Rockingham, New Hampshire. She was first married at age 24. Three children were listed: Ludwin J Proulx 25 and John B Proulx 20; and Yvonne P Fecteau, age 34 - and her family.

       Epping - Mrs. Virginie (Proulx) Proulx of Academy Street, died last night at Exeter hospital at the age of 102.
      She was born Oct. 15, 1870, the daughter of Syprien and Arline (Bergeron) Proulx.
      Mrs. Proulx came to Epping in 1894 when she was married to the late Joseph B Proulx, a prominent brick manufacturer, and had lived here ever since.
      She was a cummunicant of St. Joseph's Church.
      survivors include three daughters, Mrs. yvonne Fecteau and Miss Estelle Proulx, with whom she lived, both of Epping, and Mrs. Jeannette Bosse of Waterville, Maine; two sons, J. Ludwin of Epping and John C. of Laconia; 16 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
