  Notes	obituary - Connecticut Post (Bridgeport) - 8 Oct 2017 Roland Joseph Couture, age 91,of Shelton, entered into rest on Thursday October 5, 2017 in the Griffin Hospital Derby. He was the devoted husband of the late Alice Dergo Couture. Mr. Couture was born in Sherbrooke, Canada, on December 27, 1925, son of the late Wilfred and Clara (Filteau) Couture, and has been a Shelton resident since 1964. He is the beloved father of Roland Joseph Couture II, Adrienne Couture, and the late Alison Rochan. He is the loving grandfather of Claudia Varrone, Brett Rochan, and Erin Bray, and also leaves several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his sister Claire Couture. Friends may greet his family on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. On Tuesday a graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Cemetery 500 Moose Hill Road Monroe.
