       PLATTSBURGH - Edwin L. LaMora, 75, of the Old Moffit Road, died Friday, Aug. 19, 1988, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
      He was born on Sept. 14, 1912, in Redford, the son of Nelson and Priscilla (Facteau) LaMora.
      Mr. LaMora worked at the Cooney Brothers Cement Plant in Plattsburgh until 1960, was a foreman for General Dynamics at Plattsburgh Air Force Base for two years, and worked as a salesman at Forrence Orchards in Peru until he retired in 1976.
      Survivors include his companion, Catherine Bushey; two sons, Lowell LaMora of Manchester, N.H., and Kenneth LaMora of Beekmantown; two daughters, Mrs. Karl (Beverly) Costin and Mrs. Michael (Linda) Kemp, both of Plattsburgh; two brothers, Leo LaMora of Springfield, Mass. and Bernard LaMora of Plattsburgh; four sisters, Mrs. Leo (Rose) Betters of Dannemora. and Mrs. George (Mae) King, Mrs. Clinton (Rita) LaBombard. and Mrs. Theresa Brown, all of Plattsburgh; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
      Calling hours at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at St Peter's Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery
      Donations in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
