FLETCHER FREDETTE
Fletcher (Bunny) Fredette, 74, of Winter Haven, Fla., died Thursday at Winter Haven Hospital following a long illness.
He was born in Westmoreland, son of J. Frederick and Etta (Shephardson) Fredette, and had lived in the Lakes Region most of his life.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Wilfred Gilbert Construction and several other contractors for many years. He was a life member of the Laconia Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne (Fecteau) Fredette of Winter Haven; one son, Robert Fredette of Dover; one daughter, Judith Sweeney of Keene; three step-daughters, Maryellen Ringer and Joyce Winsor, both of Belmont, and Barbara Warren, of St. Cloud, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the A.W. Simoneau & Son Memorial Home, 139 Church St., Laconia.
Services are Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Raymond C. Wixson, pastor of the Gilford Community Church, will officiate.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in South Village Cemetery in Westmoreland.
The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Fredette's memory be made to N.H. Heart Association, 309 Pine St., Manchester 03103.
