      Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Facteau and family of Troy spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Facteau and Willand Nall and family.

      Fatal Accident (and obituary) - The Times Record (Albany, NY) - 29 Jan 1968
      A 54-year-old Troy man died after an auto collision Saturday in Troy, and a Troy woman was injured in another collision yesterday. Several minor property damage mishaps were reported last night as the result, of icy streets.
      Frederick C. Facteau of 503 First St. died at Samaritan Hospital Saturday night after, police say, the car he was driving figured in a collision with a parked vehicle in First Street.
      Police said the Troy man was driving south near Harrison Street. when his car collided with a parked vehicle owned by Charles P. Zalucky of 470 First St.
      The mishap occurred about 615 p.m. and was Investigated by Patrolmen Harold J Flavin and Joseph A. Baker. They said they found Mr. Facteau unconscious in the car at the accident scene.
      A native of Saranac, Mr. Fecteau was educated at Port Henry schools and resided in Troy for 24 years. He was a plumber and a member of United Associated Plumbers and Pipe Fitters.
      He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. He was the son of Cora Rosco Facteau and the late Frederick Facteau. Survivors include his wife. Marjorie Nall Facteau; three sons, Frederick W. Facteau of Troy, Cpl James R. Facteau, U.S. Marines, stationed in Vietnam. and Thomas Facteau of Rochester; two daughters. Mrs. William JoJo of Troy and Mrs. Thomas J. O'Connor of Rochester and a sister, Mrs. Leo J Plumadore of Eagle Mills.
      Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from Purcell Brothers Funeral Home, Jackson and Third Streets, and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church where a Requiem High Mass will be offered. Interment will he in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
