Loren M. (Brownie) Brown of Juction City died Nov. 29, at the age of 76. He was born Dec. 6, 1910 in Webster Township, Wisconsin to Mitchell and Margaret Brown. He was married March 18, 1952 in Taylor Falls, Minnesota to Eunice Kenter Davis. Brownie was a sergeant in the U.S. Army-Air Force during World War II. He came to Oregon in 1956, living in Estacada, Florence and moving to Junction City in 1964. He retired from Bohemia, Inc. in 1975.
He is survived by his wife Eunice of Junction City, eight children, Douglas Brown of Cheshire, Teresa Brown, Lisa Bullock and Virginia Leaton of Junction City, George and Thomas Davis of Eugene, Beverly Davis of Springfield and Donavon Davis of Kenilworth, New Jersey; brother, Oliver Brown of Glen Flora, Wis.; sister, Odetta Raymond of Cudahy, Wis.; 15 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Margaret Brown; four brothers, Bill, Ted, Kenneth and Victor Brown, his three sisters, Lillian Olson, Thelma Carlson and Vivian Johnson and two children, Dwight and LaVonna Rae Brown.
A memorial/military service was held at Lane Memorial Gardens on December 2. Reverend Edward McIndoo and representatives of the American Legion of Eugene officated..
