BAKER Loyal M. Baker, 65, of Brunswick, Maryland, died Friday, Sept. 25, at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederic, Md. He was born in the Town of Colburn in Chippewa County on Mar. 21, 1916 the son of Arthur Baker and Marie Filteau. He attended schools in Wisconsin and also at-tened the School of Engineering in Scranton, , Penn. He married Grace Bayed on Feb. 25, 1938 in South Dakota. He was employed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for 35 years working as the supervisor of the Toledo, Akron and Baltimore divison and retired in 1974. He was a member qJ St. Francis Church in Brunswick. He is survived by his wife, Graces six brothers, Robert of Sheldon, Lafe and William of dumal), James and Victor of Milwaukee and Thomas of Madison; three sisters, Marjorie Vogel of Gilman and Zoe Meyers and Catherine Blad, both of Milwaukee; one uncle, Eugene Filteau of Milwaukee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Cornell with Fr. Henry Lee officiating. Burial will be at St.- Mary's Cemetery in Huron. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the -Borton Funeral Home in Cornell where there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. V

Mr. Loyal Melvin Baker,65,of 814 Second Ave., Brunswick, died Saturday,Sept. 25, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Colburn, Chippewa County, Wisc., March 21,1916, a son of the late Arthur and Marie Filteau Baker. He was the husband of Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Bayerl Baker.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Baker had been employed bythe B&O Railroad and Chessie System 37 years. He was a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Brunswick, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are six brothers, Lafy Baker and William Baker, both of Gilman,Wisc., James Baker and Victor Baker, both of Milwaukee, Robert Baker of Sheldon, Wisc.,and Thomas Baker of Theop, Wisc.; three sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Vogel of Gilman,Wisc., Mrs. Catherine Blad of Milwaukee and Mrs. Zoe Meyers of Milwaukee; a maternal uncle, Eugene Filteau, Milwaukee, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Baker will be removed to the Robert Barton Funeral Home, Cornell, Wisc. Funeral services will be held from Holy Cross Catholic Church,Cornell, Wednesday morning, Sept 30.
