Paulilne M. (Marchand) Filteau of Tunnel Rd., Vernon, passed away on Monday, (December 27, 1999) at Manchester Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Berlin, NH, September 1, 1922, she was the daughter of Louis and Philomene Marchand. She attended school at Angel Guardian in Berlin, NH. She resided in Vernon for the past seven years. While living in Vernon she was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. She also was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW of Berlin, NH. Pauline is survived by her six children, Rita McLean of Sarasota FL, Lorraine Boyington of Vernon, Donald Filteau of Dorchester, NH, Edward Filteau of Vernon, Marie Provencher of Vernon, Henry Filteau, Jr. of Berlin, NH; and nine grandchildren, Lisa Hayes, Brian Hayes, Melissa Boyington, Dennis Filteau, Robert Filteau, Sally Provencher, Megan Provencher, Heather Filteau, Keith Filteau; and also two great-grandchildren, Nathan Hayes and Jocelyn Hayes. She is survived by two sisters, Helen Cadorette of E. Hartford and Cecile Dalphonse of Cascade, NH; and a brother, Robert Marchand of Manchester; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry R. Filteau, Sr.; four brothers, Edward, Raymond, Lawrence and Normand Marchand; andthree sisters, Annette Jacques, Louise Bossie and Evelyn Gallant. Pauline touched many people's lives and we will deeply miss her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 31, 1999, at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church with interment in St. Anne Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 30, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Visiting Nurses & Health Services of Connecticut, Inc., 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT, 06066.
