    • The name of M. Alice Edna Richard is given in her marriage record.

      According to the 1930 census, Alice was 29 years old. While the census does not say so, I believe her parents -- Joseph H Richard, age 67, and his wife Josephine, age 68, were listed immediately above them in the same house.

      According to the 1940 census, the widowed Alice Felteau, age 39, was renting ($19) at 32 Norwood Street in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts. Three childen were listed: Edna 16, Jacqueline 13, and Richard 10.

      According to the Massachusetts Death Index, Alice E Felteau died on 11 Mar 1995 in Fall River. She was born on 7 Apr 1901 in Massachusetts.

      ALICE E. FELTEAU, 93, of 495 New Boston Rd., formerly of Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, a ward secretary for Mercy Hospital in Miami, Fla., for 17 years before retiring, died yesterday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the widow of Albert Felteau.
      Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Hilaire and Josephine (Pepin) Richard, she lived in Miami for 15 years before moving to Swansea in the early 1970s. She returned to Fall River three years ago.
      Mrs. Felteau was previously a parts inspector at the Newport Naval Torpedo Station in World War II. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Swansea.
      She leaves two daughters, Edna Williams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Jacqueline Devlin of Swansea; a son, Richard Felteau of Hobe Sound, Fla.; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-granddaughters.
      The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the "Cherry Place" Home of Waring-Ashton & Coughlin, D.D. Sullivan-Driscoll, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., with a funeral Mass at 10 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Gardners Neck Road. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.

      A very pretty wedding took place at the Notre Dame church when Alberic R. Felteau, son of Mr and Mrs Edward Felteau of Ocean Grove and Miss Edna Richard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hilaire Richard, 32 Norwood street, were united in marriage. Rev Fr. Larose performed the ceremony and celebrated the mass which followed. The two fathers acted a witnesses. Following the mass a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents. Many relatives and friends were also present during the reception.

      A large number of friends and relatives gathered at Notre Dame church at 7 this morning to witness the marriage of Miss Alice Edna Richaid, daughter of Mr and Mrs J H Richard, 32 Norwood street, and Ralph Albert Felteau, son of Edouard Felteau, Swansea, Mass. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Victor Larose. The double ring service was used. The bride belonged to the Children of Mary Sodality. Her mistresses of ceremony were Concorde Lavoie and Angelina Lapointe. They were dressed in white. The witnesses were the fathers of the groom and bride respectively. Tho bride was charming in her white duchess satin dress and silk veil trimmed with lilly of the valley. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses. Immediately after the marriiage ceremony a breakfast was served at the home of the bride to the relatives and Intimate friends of both families. During the day Mr and Mrs. Felteau left by auto for a tour.
      After their wedding trip spent In Bath and Lewiston, Me, they will reside at Ocean Grove. Next Saturday a reception will be held at the home of the bride,
