    • obituary:

      Marjorie E. "Midge" (Marriott) Fecteau, 72, a store manager for various department stores in the Springfield area, died Monday at home. She retired in 1965.
      Born in Riverside, Long Island, she was a graduate of Commerce High School, and was a resident here most of her life.
      She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
      She leaves a daughter, Lynda J. Lemanis of Springfield, and a grandson, James M. Long Jr. of Springfield.
      The funeral and burial were private at the convenience of the family. Byrons City and Burial Cremation Service was in charge. Friends and relatives are invited to the home of Lynda J. Lemanis, Sunday afternoon, Dec. 15, at 150 Overlook Drive, Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurses Association, Hospice of Pioneer Valley, 50 Maple St., PO Box 9058, Springfield, 01102.
