Clinton -- Philip Emile Fecteau, 67, passed away and went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2017, at his home in Clinton. Phil was born in Waterville, to Aurele and Jeanne Louise Fecteau on December 24, 1949. He went to school at Waterville High.
Phil was married to Nancy Ann Cobb on June 8, 1996, in Sidney. He worked as a welder for Bath Iron Works, Scott Paper as a lead man in the bale press room and being self employed as a woodsman through the years. He was a veteran of Vietnam War and served in the United States Marine Corp. Philip was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and a Rifle Marksman Badge.
Phil enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, family, friends and pets. Phil’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, boating, collecting vehicles and motorcycle riding.
Phil is preceded in death by his parents, Aurele and Jeanne Fecteau.
Phil is survived by his wife Nancy Ann Cobb Fecteau; his children, Philip Fecteau Jr., Chad Fecteau and partner Traci Mulholland, Jason Fecteau and wife Michelle; his step children, Leigh Ann Brown and partner Mark Braithwaite, Christine Brown and partner Chad Lagasse, Sarah Carlezon and husband Eric, Jolene Brown and partner Irving Crommett; brothers, Ernest and wife Lorraine Fecteau, Maurice and wife Jeanne Fecteau, Paul Fecteau and David Fecteau; sisters, Ann Marie and husband Scott Bucknam, Diane White and partner Brian Caron; grandchildren, Devon Joseph and Tyler Jay Fecteau, Aubrey, Hannah and Whitney Fecteau, Savannah Brown, Sage and Skylar Vance, Eva Carlezon, Jenna Gaudette, Emily and James Crommett.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St. Fairfield. A Graveside Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Veterans Memorial Cemetery on 163 Mt. Vernon Rd. Augusta, at 1 p.m.
