Mrs. Reba Pearl Johnston O'Banion, 80 of Warrenville, SC, widow of Mr. Frank "Dean" O'Banion, died Saturday, May 2nd, 2009. Following Frank's death in 2004, Reba's beloved great-granddaughter, Caitlin Heath, lived with her at 18 O'Banion Court.
Born in Hampton County, SC, she was a daughter of the late M. B. and Frances Shuman Johnston. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She retired retired after twenty years from Kimberly Clark where she was a Lab Technician.
She is survived by a son, George O'Banion, (Diane) Warrenville, SC; daughter, Judy Gross, (Bill) Warrenville, SC; grandchildren, Monty Heath, Becky McDaniel, Tommy O'Banion, and Terry O'Banion and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 4th, 2009, at 2 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Robert Jackson and Pastor John Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Terry O'Banion, Tommy O'Banion, Monty Heath, Scott McDaniel, Bobby Hollowell, Gerald Heath, David Johnston and Joe Clary.
