obituary - Fletcher Funeral Home (Keene, NH)
Richard “Dick” A. Fisk, 81, life-long resident of Gilsum, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on January 2, 2018.
He was born June 8, 1936 in Keene, NH, the son of Grace (Miller) and Bryan Fisk. He attended area schools and graduated from Keene High School in 1954.
It was a toss up which Dick enjoyed more between hunting and fishing. He was an active outdoors enthusiast and liked the companionship of his many dogs over the years. Dick genuinely liked people and stayed socially connected as a member of the American Legion, Post 85 in Gilsum.
Dick will be dearly missed by his wife of over 55 years: Gloria Fisk of Gilsum; a daughter: Sandra Pratt and her fiancé David Allain of Keene; two grandsons: Jared Pratt and Riley Pratt; a brother: Franklin Fisk and his wife Connie of Keene; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
He was predeceased by his infant son, Robert Edward Fisk, and sister, Ruth Keith.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH. A funeral service will be officiated by Reverend James Berry on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Gilsum Congregational Church, 13 Main Street, Gilsum , NH. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Avenue, Keene, NH. A gathering back at the Church will take place after the burial.
