According to the 1940 census, Ronald Facteau, age 23, and his wife Katherine, age 20, were living in North Elba, Essex, New York. No children were listed.
According to the 1950 census, Ronald F Facteau, age 33, and his wife Katherine E, age 30, were living in Camden, Oneida, New York. Three children were listed: Ronald F jr 8, Rodney J 5, and Byron J 3.

Plattsburgh Mayor Suffers Fractured Left Ankle -- Saranac Lake man's Condition Critical
Mayor Bouyea suffered a compound fracture of the left ankle, a deep laceration on the forehead over the light eye and also complained of an Injury to his back.
Others injured were:
Raymond Facteau, 20, Saranac, fractured pelvis, possible ruptured bladder and two fractured ribs. Condltlon critical.
Robert Foote, Clinton County Farm Bureau Agent, several fractured ribs.
Francis Kennedy, steward at the Elks Club, bruises and cuts about the face. Kennedy's home to In Minevllle.
Raymond Facteau [sic, should be Ronald], 19, Saranac, bruises about body.
Clayton Mafark, Saranac, lacerations of the head,
Mayor Bouyea and Kennedy were riding In a car operated by Foote and were proceeding east on the highway towards Plattsburgh.
Raymond Facteau was the operator of the other car and riding with him was his brother, Ronald and Malark.
The two Facteau brothers had driven to the Baker farmhouse just south of Saranac for Malark and were leaving the farm entrance when they struck Foote's car broadside pushing It off the highway.
The injured were given first aid by a physician at Saranac and sent to the Champlain Valley hospital.

Ronald F. Facteau, Sr, 53, of 5 Third St., died Wednesday at Rome City Hospital.
Born in Saranac, Mr. Facteau was a resident of Camden since 1941. A communicant of St. John's Church, he was a member of the Camden Volunteer Fire Department. He was employed at the Revere Copper and Brass Co.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Patsina Facteau; two sons: Ronald, Jr. and Bryan Facteau; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Smart of Dannemora, Mrs. Burt Burnak of Redford and Mrs, Edward Prue of Saranac Lake; and three brothers, Maynard of Arcadia, Calif., Leonard of Cadyville and Edward Facteau of Watervliet.
Services will be. at 9 a.m. Friday at the E. H. McDaniels Funeral Home, 47 Minor Ave., and at 9:30 a.m. in St. John's Church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
