Mrs. Walter Hendel, who with her husband entertained at the family dinner, looks forward to successfully tying her parents. Alta Irene and La Verne, another daughter and a son, beamed joyfully at each new good wish extended their happy parents. The Fecteaus are both active in town affairs. Mrs. Fecteau is president of the Rosary Society of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Dewey Avenue. 37th anniversary - The Greece Press (NY) - 4 Jan 1951 Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fecteau of Ridgeway Avenue celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on New Year's Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Kikta of Greyson Road, Scottsville, and on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jepson of Ridgeway Avenue, formerly of Avis Street, entertained at a dinner at the Wishing Well in their honor.

  	wedding - The Greece Press (NY) - 7 Nov 1946 - Holy Rosary Church was the scene.of a pretty fall wedding October 19 when Alta Irene Fecteau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Fecteau el Ridgeway Avenue, became the bride of Theodore J. Kikta of Rochester. Monsignor Charles F. Shay performed the double ring ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin with net over skirt and finger tip veil trimmed with lace and held in place by a tiara of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Mrs. Walter Handel, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a gown of jewel blue velvet with a tiara of yellow pompoms and she carried yellow chrysanthemums. William H. Sherman Jr. was best man. Ushers were Anthony Kikta, brother of the bridegroom, and LaVerne Fecteau, brother of the bride. Mrs. Fecteau chose for her daughter's wedding a suit of cinnamon brown with brown accessories and wore a corsage of yellow pompoms. Mrs. James Pascall or Buffalo, sister of the bridegroom, wore a black dress with black accessories and a corsage of white pompoms. Following the ceremony a dinner and reception vere held at the Dutch Mill. After a trip to Syracuse, Mr. and Mrs. Kikta are residing at 11 Arnett Boulevard. Mrs. Helen Evans, Mrs. Walter Hendel, and Miss Arlene Hartsough entertained at pre-nuptial events for the bride.
