  Notes	news - The Portsmouth Herald (NH) - 25 Aug 1925, p 1 George Fecteau Charged with Manslaughter after Auto Accident Plaistod, Aug. 25.--George Fecteau of Epping, a brick maker, alleged driver of the automobile which was-in collision with an auto driven by Mrs. Cleveland Allen of Haverhill, Mass., and which resulted in the death of her husband, was ordered held in $200 bail for the October term of Rocklngham Counly Grand Jury on a manslaughter by Judge John E. Noyes in police court yesterday, afternoon. The hearing lasted nearly two hours. Mrs. Allen positively identified Fecteau as the driver ot the machine which crashed into the machine was driving. County Solicitor Stewart Rowe nol pros'd manslaughter charges against Peter Fecteau, a brother of the man held, and Arthur Coin, both of Epping. Fecteau and Coin were said to have been occupants of the car which ran down the Allen car. According to the 1930 census, George H Fecteau, age 29, and his wife Anna M, age 26, were renting ($15) and living in Epping, Rockingham, New Hampshire. They had been married for 7 years; four children were listed: Geraldine 6, George H Jr 5, Richard 3+9 mo, and Marion 2+9 mo. According to the 1940 census, George Fecteau, age 39, and his wife Anna, age 36, were renting ($34) at 278 Lowell Street in Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Five children were listed: Geraldine 16, Richard 13, Marion 12, Ann 4, and Jean (daughter) 1. The burial information for George states that he was married and had sons and 3 daughters.
