John W Facto (Facteau) of 8 Dobert Court, Wynantskill, a native of Brooklyn, died Saturday afternoon at Leonard Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Facto was employed at the American Locomotive Co., Schenectady, for 50 years and ha been a boiler inspector at the time of his retirement four years ago. He had resided in Green Island for 35 years before moving to Wyantskill three years ago. Mr. Facto was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Green Island.
Survivors include his wife, the former Catherine Canfield; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley P Roberts of Waterford; a son, Thomas D Facto of Waterford; two sisters, Mrs. Libby Kiley of Mechanisville and Mrs. Celia VanBuren of Willard, Ohio; also seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the McNully Funeral Home, 147 Hudson Ave., Green Island at at 9:30 a.m. fromSt. Joseph's Church where a Requiem Mass will be celebrated.
