LAUZON, Albina (nee Jolicoeur) The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at the age of 103 years 10 months.
Daughter of the late Thomas and of the late Octavie (nee Fortier) Jolicoeur. Wife of the late Albert Lauzon, predeceased in 1984. Marie, Dr. Ro… Read More land Lauzon (wife Cecile) of Lafontaine, Rita Dugas (husband Edmond) and Yvette Arsenault (husband Paul) both Sudbury, Therese O'Brien (husband James) of Loretto, Lomer Lauzon (wife Dorothy) of Windsor and Lorraine Talbot (husband Roger) of Welland. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Thomas, Arthur, Alfred (wife Anita of Sudbury), Stephanie "Fanny" Greco, Rodolphe, Oscar. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 28 grandchildren, her 47 great-grandchildren and her 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Albina enjoyed music and loved to play piano. As well, Mrs. Lauzon enjoyed playing cards and gardening. A great cook, she was renowned for her pies and cinnamon buns.
The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, February 6, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jean-de-Brebeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations to the Pioneer Manor Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated.
