They had been married for 23 years; five children were listed: Philip J 23, Joseph R 21, Gerard J 17, Anna 12, and Eva 12. The next listing was for their daughter - Emilienne, age 29, and her husband Francis W Dufort, age 32, and their two children According to the 1940 census, Hormidas Trainque, age 69, and his wife Rosanna, age 61, were living with the family of her daughter: Florida and Theodore Filteau at 95 Melrose Street in Fitchburg, Worcester, Massachusetts. Three children were listed: Girard 27, Anna 22, and Eva 22. obituary notice - Fitchburg Sentinal (MA) - 14 Nov 1944 Hormidas Joseph Trainque, 73, of 95 Melrose street, died at his home early this morning after a short illness. He was born in St. Thomas, P. Q., and had resided here 27 years. He was formerly employed as a harness fixer at the Shirreffs Worsted Co. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Anna (Allard) Trainque; four daughters, Mrs. Emeline Dufort, Mrs. Florida Filteau, Mrs. Anna Gagne and Miss Eva Trainque, all of this city; five sons, Rosario, Anatole, Philip and Gerard, all of this city, and Joseph of North Adams; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Caron of this city. The funeral will be from the Lavery funeral home Friday morning with a solemn high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock in St. Francis' church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's cemetery.
