Lewis, pastor of the Westford churches.... The maid of honor was Miss Florence P Chippendale, of Lowell....The best man was Roy S Fletcher of Lowell.... Dorothy P. Davis, 85, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Friday, July 5, 2002, as a result of injuries incurred in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Davis was born June 17, 1917, in Lowell, Mass., daughter of the late Alderick H. and Winifred G. (Whitney) Fecteau.
She was the wife of Lawrence S. Davis of Port Charlotte, whom she married in 1938.
Mrs. Davis was a 1935 graduate of Westford (Mass.) Academy, and worked for Honeywell as a switchboard supervisor in Waltham, Mass., before her retirement in 1979. That year, she moved from Holliston, Mass., to Largo, Fla., where she resided until moving to Port Charlotte two years ago.
She was a volunteer for Pinellas Center for the Visually Impaired, where she recycled used greeting cards to be sold in the PCVI store. She loved reading, music, golf, ballet and animals.
Mrs. Davis was an accomplished pianist, and prior to her marriage was the organist for her church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Davis is survived by a son, Lawrence T. Davis of Palmer, Mass.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbi and Fred Barrows of Punta Gorda, Fla., Phyllis and Bob Beal of Hollis, and Dimity and Steve Cooper of Hudson, Mass.; and three grandchildren.

She will be inurned at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston, Mass., on July 21, at 2 pm.
Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her brother, Roland W. Fecteau, during World War II in 1944.
