The marriage of Yolande, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Filteau, to Mr. Serge Belec, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marius Belec, is taking place this morning, at ten o'clock, in Notre Dame des Neiges Church, the Rev. Father Jean Paul Demers, cousin of the bride, officiating. Mr. Lucien Tourangeau and Mr. H Longtin will sing during the service. White gladioli and peonies will be used to decorate.
The bride, who will be given away by her father, will be in a gown of white Chantilly lace and tulle over satin, with a lace bodice having a petal neckline outlined in sequins, and a full tulle skirt, appliqued with lace bowknots encrusted with seed pearls, falling into a train. Her chapel-length veil of tulle illusion will he held by a lace bandeau, embroidered in seed pearls and she will carry a cascade bouquet of stephanotis and gardenias.
Miss Suzanne Seguin, as maid of honor, will be in a frock of blue nylon over taffeta, with a fitted bodice and a flared skirt. She will wear a picture hat of the same color and will carry a bouquet of Talisman roses.
Mr. Robert Filteau will act as best man for Mr. Belec and the ushers will be Mr. Gilles Belec, brother of the bridegroom, Mr. George Brien, Mr. Real Baillargeon and Mr. Andre Paradis.
Mrs. Filteau, the bride's mother, will wear a gown of pink organza with a pink flowered hat and will have a spray of Pinocchio roses fastened to her handbag.
Mrs. Belec, mother of the bridegroom, will be gowned in aquamarine lace with a hat of matching organza and will have a spray of Sweetheart roses pinned to her purse.
The reception will be held at Ruby Foo's where white and pink gladioli and peonies will be used as decorations.
Later Mr. and Mrs. Belec will leave by plane for Bermuda, bride travelling in a suit of the beige linen and wearing beige accessories and a corsage bouquet of bronze orchids.
