  Notes	obituary - The Day (New London, CT) - 16 May 2012 Wanda Jean Winterholer, 53, of 62 Brookshaven Road, Groton, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012, at her residence. She was born in New London, on Nov. 18, 1958, the daughter of Theresa Fecteau Deck of Hamden and the late Robert Deck. Wanda was married to William H. Winterholer on Sept. 24, 1978, in Groton. She was a 1977 graduate of Robert E. Fitch Sr. High School and received her associate's degree from Three Rivers College. Wanda had worked for Kelly Services at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. Besides her husband and mother, Wanda is survived by her two daughters, Renee Winterholer of Crossville, Tenn., and Heather Avery of Groton; a brother, Gary Deck of Groton; and her sister, Cheryl Peckham of Hamden. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adrien, Jason, Alanna, Brandon, and Lukas. Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. Funeral service and interment will be private. Donations in her memory may be directed to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 2501 Oak Lawn Ave., Suite 435, Dallas, TX 75219.
